Kenny died of cancer on Sunday September 16 2007 in Roxburghe House, Dundee. Aged 51.
Kenny was born at 4am on Wednesday July 18 1957 and brought up in Charleston, Dundee. Beloved Son of Ann and the late Jack. Much loved and sorely missed Dad of Vicki, dearest Brother of Jack, Marlynn and the late Helen. A much loved Grandpa of Taylor and Kieran. Also, Uncle of Tom, Stuart, Audrey, Morag and Heather, Great Uncle of Katy and Hamish, Brother-in-Law of Dave and Irene and a dear Cousin of the Connor family.
He was a Tyre Fitter for many years and worked in ABC Tyres. He also worked for British Gas. He worked in Safeway too, for eleven years.
He was the most fantastic, fun loving man you could ever meet. He liked a pint with his mates at the weekend and a sing-song on the karaoke and putting a bet on the football every Saturday.
He played for the darts team in the Junction before it closed, then he played for Harlequins on a Monday night.
He was also a massive Dundee United supporter.
He had lots of good friends who were with him right up until the end.
He is very sadly missed by all, now and forever.

You were one of the nicest guys ive ever met Kenny, and i know i'm not alone in saying that. You always made me laugh when i came into harlequins. Was gutted when i heard you were gone.

I was sitting in the pub one day, a stranger to me walked in.
We started to have a blether, within two hours I felt like he was kin.
This man's name was Kenny, he became a friend for 10 years or more.
A better man you could never meet, this man was Kenny Hoar. x

My Dad was a person who was loving and kind,
And often he knew what was on my mind.
He was someone who listened
And would suggest and defend,
My Dad was one of my very best friends.
He was proud of my triumphs
But when things would go wrong,
My Dad would be patient, helpful and strong.
